Neil Min

I’m Neil Min, a software engineer based in Sunnyvale. Over the past few years, I spent most of my time working on cloud database infrastructure and large-scale data systems, but this site is a quieter corner of the internet for everything that sits adjacent to that work: things I am learning, things I am building, and ideas I want to think through a little more carefully.

I like systems that are practical, slightly obsessive, and worth revisiting later. Sometimes that means distributed systems and performance tuning. Sometimes it means a homelab service, a side project, or a blog post that finally explains something the way I wish I had first encountered it.
